How I did it: i finally got a Paragard. it took awhile between the ob/gyn consult, insurance approval, and insertion, but i'm done (i think) and happy so far. dilation and insertion were a bit painful and i felt sick immediately afterward, with lightheadedness, nausea, and low BP. i had pretty intense cramps for the three nights post-insertion. assuming i don't encounter any future problems like expulsion or intolerable periods,… Read how I did it…
How I did it: it took a good hair day and forty minutes waiting at the DMV, along with a week and a half waiting patiently, but i got my new license in the mail yesterday! my picture isn’t Vogue-worthy or anything, but i won’t be ashamed to show people my ID anymore. what a relief! How I did it: i actually decided to do it myself. i just cut them off. i wasn't worried about cancers because i've had the moles since i was born. but i'll continue to watch the areas anyway. Read how I did it…

there are a bunch of reasons i dethere are a bunch of reasons i decided i want to do this. the main reason was because sleeping on my stomach/side often made my neck and joints sore. another reason was because i don’t want wrinkles from putting pressure on my face all night. intially, it was really hard to sleep on my back. i wasn’t getting into that ‘zone’ where my consciousness starts to drift before falling asleep. however, i persisted, and i think i can almost say i’ve completed this goal. i only sleep on one pillow, so what i did was lay my normal pillow over a second pillow i placed longways along on the side of my mattress. this created a little hill at the overlap that i could lean my head against when sleeping on my back. being able to lean my head a little has definitely helped me fall asleep. however, i think i’ll be able to wean myself off the second pillow soon.
i can also say that i don’t wake up sore anymore and i think i get better quality sleep with this new sleeping position.
i got my first treatment yesterday! i started with my underarms. it stung a little and smelled bad but it was over quickly. i found out i’m a good candidate for the treatment since i have very light skin and darker hair. i can’t wait to start seeing my hairs fall out of their follicles. i’ll return in 6 weeks for another treatment.
i’m going to Urban Allure in San Francisco, CA.
