I got a featherbed for an early gift a couple days ago, and now I am sleeping really well. It’s so nice and cozy. Usually I lie awake for a long time before I can get to sleep and then I wake up several times during the night.

I did it!

I finally finished at 4 A.M. (and I am up for work now at 8:30 A.M.). I know I had today to work with it, but I didn’t want to risk getting so close and not finishing! I wouldn’t call it a novel just yet. It needs a LOT of work. But I’m planning on spending this next month catching up on my reading and movie watching! How are the rest of you coming?
Thank you all so much for the support and inspiration. I didn’t realize how motivational it was to work with a group. :-)

I’m up to 45,000 words. The end is in sight! I can write 5,000 words in 2 days, can’t I?? I’m pretty sure I can.
Congrats to all of you who have finished. Good job! And some encouragement for anyone like me still scrambling for the finish line. You can do it! :-)
