I have returned to practicing Portuguese on a semi-regular basis. Brazilian podcasts and a language partner sure do help the cause too. Without that I would have very little motivation to do it considering everything else I’ve got going on.

How I did it: I completed my goal of participating in an art show by following other crafty artsy bloggers' articles on their experiences. I combined this knowledge with other related articles from expert websites such as "Craft Report" and made a plan. The final step is of course to apply for participation until you get accepted. How I did it: I made it top priority to start my own business (http://jennyarchie.etsy.com). It took some time to muster up with the nerves to do this. But since I'd already done all the research necessary, I was ready to just jump in with both feet and get it done. The key is to start small and to be realistic. I don't know when I'll break even, but I have a long-range view of this and am in it for the really long haul. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I could only accomplish this by making the time to do this as important as going to work. This is crucial. Making your passions a priority in your life. Read how I did it…

I think I’m near to completing my aim to create an art studio. So far the kitchen has been transformed into a makeshift enameling station. I think I can push this further. Who needs a living room for watching tv when it can be the oil painting atelier?
Bummer deal that all of the summer art and craft shows are during my vacation times. Or I was just too late to register. Grrrr!!!
