...I think that there are so many choices on where to volunteer that I don’t know where to begin. I think I will try the volunteermatch.com mentioned in another post. Thanks

This is kind of like meditating. If I have it near me, it will probably be easier to pick it up and play it. I appreciate the comment about just playing a few minutes a day. I used to practice for an hour a day when I was a kid. I loved it and was good. It is difficult to see how it has deteriorated, therefore, my solution is to not pick it up at all. How silly is that?
Why is it that something that helps me so much is so difficult for me to get started. I practice Nichiran Buddhism for the past year and a half. For six months, I meditated daily and it was such a great feeling. However, since moving to Tampa last year, I have had the most difficult time meditating. I read another comment that stated that the days that are unstructured are the days that they can’t get into the meditative mode. Maybe that is what it is for me. I have been working out of my house, making new friends, and getting adjusted to a new city. Those all sound like excuses, so I am going to put this on my calendar to check off daily. Maybe it is as simple as that.
