My favorite country – I have been ten times and still have not seen it all. In September I am going back to Srinagar (where I was 20 years ago) and stay on a houseboat on Lake Nagin and then will drive through the Zojila Pass (15500 ft road) to Leh in Ladakh. There we will stay at the Ladakh Sarai in wonderful Yurt Tents. Then we will drive down from Leh to Mandi Manali and Kullu to Simla and take the “toy train” to Chandigarh. Then to Jaipur to shop!
