we had a flock of cedar waxwings a few days ago. Got out of the car, noticed 4-5 unusual birds in the tree next to the garage. Turned out to be waxwings. I wont’ easily forget their eerie calls to each other, the air just felt alive with their song.

How I did it: Set aside time in my schedule at the end of every day. If I missed a day, made myself add the update the next morning. After awhile, it became more of a habit. Read how I did it…
How I did it: We must have looked at thousands of tile samples before we finally found just the right things. We got a blend of blue glass mosaic tiles that are reminiscent of ocean water on the clearest of days, and some gorgeous hand-crafted art tiles in a similar dark blue color. Then we matched paints to the tiles. The walls are white subway tile. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I guess this is a kind of "I didn't do it" post in a way, yet I'm really happy with the results. I played with 2 wonderful people all the way to level 80 with our "main" 'toons and we had a blast doing it! In the end, I decided I wasn't really the type of person who wants to do the big raiding parties, etc. Read how I did it…

It’s a rainbow project - a lace pattern knit with a variety of alternating yarns. Attempting a pseudo-Saori approach with the project - not worrying about the order in which colors repeat, just picking whatever “feels” right.
Basil is growing slowly but steadily. The rosemary plant is fantastic! The patchoulli, well, it’s too big but still growing. It really needs repotting! And I started a planter that has both lemon balm and mint in it. They are small still but looking healthy.
