I am now buying my green power from Bullfrog Power. Their mix is 20% wind and 80% low-impact hydro. You can see how that compares to the current Ontario mix here. All this comes at a price of course, $0.091 per KWH which is nearly double the current Toronto Hydro price. BUT, my bill isn’t going to double since the delivery charge etc.. won’t go up at all. Things other than the actual electricity make up more than half my bill so I guess it’ll go up maybe 20%.
