How I did it: When I moved to the South in 1996 I had my license. But in 1998 when my NH license lapsed, I had not yet gotten a SC drivers license. I was going the same places as my husband because we worked together, so I didn't really need it.But a few years ago I really needed to be able to drive myself places, and so I finally broke down, took the written exam and relearned how to parallel park so I could pas the driving exam, and got my SC license. How I did it: At the same zoo where I fed the tiger cub, they later had lion cubs born there. Because they knew me by then ... we were regular visitors .. they let me hold Nala while a friend of mine held Elsa, two of the little lion cubs when they were cleaning their enclosure. How I did it: Not far from where I live was a small 'zoo' where the owners took in rescued animals of all kinds. One time when we went they had a six-month-old tiger, and were allowing pictured to be taken with him. We were there at closing, and I was so awed by the handsome little guy that they asked if I wanted to feed him. Well .. duh! So I held the bottle for him as he greedily suckled on his. I’m still working towards this. I’m down to around 185, though my loss has tapered off some. Still working though. Need to get better exercise habits.
Well, I’ve managed to visit Europe, though I’d like to do it again. Spain was amazing, but I want to see Germany and Italy and Greece.
