How I did it: Started my own home-based Travel Consultancy through Travel Counsellors. Now, I've added an additional business that is, so far, going ahead great guns! http://www.my-passive-income.net/ using the C-T-P-M method of building a website, learning how to optimise it for the search engines (I started out a techno-dummy and have learnt a tonne) and how to market it successfully. The idea I have is to create multiple income streams s… Read how I did it…
but I don’t want to be a working mother who only sees her kids after work and weekends. How exhausting, I don’t know how you ladies do it :P
I have this picture in my mind that grows and matures every day. It’s to do with the place where I’d like to live, how I’d like it to feel, the environment (plants, trees, grass, water etc) that surrounds my place, how much space there is around me and feeling that I have privacy and security.
I’ve been reading about Tiny Houses and the structure is somewhat similar to what I’d like. Not one house for everything though, several tiny house structures that are separate, but close enough to move between, and joined only by greenhouses, man-made rainforest, hedged gardens and the like.
The tiny house would not contain a kitchen in the traditional sense. It would have a sink, to drain water however the water coming into that part of the house would not be piped in the regular way but straight from the tanked rainwater in natural bamboo rods (or similar). There would be no fridge however a natural alternative that doesn’t use power would be used.
The bathroom sink and shower would be setup in a similar fashion to the kitchen sink water being piped in through natural means.
The roof of the house would be half circle shaped with guttering to capture as much water as possible to be deeper and more wave-shaped than the usual guttering.
That’s a few things for now …
