My claims are based on the article published so it’s a matter of clipping it out immediately and putting it in a file. I usually fill in the claim form immediately as well, so there’s no need to scramble around trying to figure out which need to be submitted. At the end of the month, I just make sure the forms are properly filled and all the articles are accounted for before I fill in the total of claims and submit it.
The keys is “don’t be lazy”. ;P
It also helps to keep everything you need in one file.

I’m terrible at this and at the same time, there’s quite a chunk of money I can claim back from night functions and long-distance travel.
Of course, the office made filing claims as easy as jumping through hoops of fire blindfolded, possible a deterrent to people actually doing it. I couldn’t be bothered for years but I figure there must be a reason why I’m always broke!
I’m in the middle of clipping out my articles for this month’s claims and have filed claims for the ones I could find for previous months.
Give me back my money!
