i think i can retire this goal. i made a conscious effort to put others before myself and not be so self-absorbed, and after a while it just became second nature. sure, i have my moments, but i’m not who i used to be. and that’s a good thing.

well. i’m retiring this goal. and it’s kind of cheating, because i didn’t find love. love found me. love found me and said he wanted me back and missed me and loved me.

the agony of two months without him was worth the time i have with him now.

i know now that i do try to do as much as possible, but that’s because i want to learn while still here at uni. i want to learn everything, because it all fascinates me. it makes me happy. so i’m not chasing respect and admiration, it’s actually fulfilling.
