I researched about this before just starting to drink more water. I found several articles from just typing in Water facts in a google search.
When I got serious about losing weight, and eating healthier. Waking up in the morning I would start with a glass of water, and then try to drink up to 20 oz every two hours until lunchtime. Replacing sodas with water will help out if you haven’t already done that too. I would say on most days I have my daily goal of 10 glasses done by the end of work each day.
I found that having a designated container or favorite bottled water helps keep you focused and reminds everyone around you and holds you more accountable.
After 10 days, I can definitely see my hard work payoff, my overall mood and energy has increased and I don’t find myself getting any headaches or muscle cramps like when I was hooked on sodas especially Dr. pepper, and Diet Coke, I was up to almost a 12 pack a day while working retail.
