Very humbling… when you think about it at first, its like, yea that would be cool, then you get there and you realize how long its been there and how many people have done the same thing as you, you feel so connected to everyone of your fellow Jews have been there. Very cool and very pensive.

How I did it: I joined in on a Birthright Israel trip given through Hillel of Buffalo, but you can find Hillel all over the country. i got accepted to go on the trip, which is free by the way :-), and took the trip and was blown away by the beauty of the middle east. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Was lucky enough to get a job out of college that sent me to Los Angeles to work. After college, I put my resume online in different career websites and hoped for a response. It's actually surprising how many people actually get jobs from those sites. Read how I did it…
The lights in the windows, the carols playing from the stores, the snow falling gently in a chaotic world… yes fans, its NYC winters. It is an experience and a half. Between Rockerfeller center with all its Christmas cheer and the Christmas Day parade down Central Park west, if your coming to New York to experience the holidays, come early because it starts early and it goes on for a long time, all of which you’ll need to see it all. The Empire State Building if its Red and Green glazing and Time Square as bright as ever. It is the winter wonderland that no one dreams of. When someone says winter wonderland, you think of perfect snow, a beautiful tree and carolers at your door. But, in New York, even though you get the tree, its still everything you wished for.
I recently went to hawaii… its an amazing place, and everyone should see it, but stay away from the touristy stuff as much as possible. I mean yes, Pearl Harbor is a must and Diamond Head is awsome, but Waikiki is horrible because too many people are on it. If you want Hawaiian experience and little to no tourists clogging the beaches, you have to go to North Shore. There are beaches galore, practically no tourists, and the waves are amazing, always good for some kind of surfing. Didn’t get a chance to surf them, because I don’t have a surf board yet, but if you got one and your planning on going to hawaii, you need to surf the north shore. Turtle Bay is probably the best.
