have another baby
Not. 2 years ago

But still hoping. Yes, that’s my urine you are looking at but the photo was actually taken in March. I’m just reposting this as a reminder to myself that I WOULD like the results to be MUCH different the next time I take the test but if and when it happens I’d like it to be a healthy pregnancy. Note to self: Eat Healthy, Exercise and bring your blood pressure down !!!!

Read all harry potter books
Down with the Dursleys !! 2 years ago

Harry Potter Days. Over the years, I have read only parts of the Harry Potter books with my son as these were his primary reading years. I enjoyed taking him to see the HP movies and had even temporarily become addicted to the HP X-Box games. Well, I actually completed all the levels in the game and the challenge ended… otherwise I’m sure I’d still be wandering the rooms of Hogwarts for my next adventure. I have never read an entire book. One of my goals is to read all 7 books.

I’ve just started Book 1 – Harry Potter And The Sorcerer’s Stone. I can’t put it down. I’m sure I’ll have all 7 books read by the end of the year. Just left Diagon Alley and now I must escape to Hogwarts … I’ll write more later.

Cook like my Husbands Grand-Mama and Garden like his Grand-Daddy
Visiting Mama and Daddy 2 years ago

My husband and I have been together 17 years and it has been that long since he moved away from home. We visit his home-town every other year where we spend quality time with his family and the friends he grew up with.

One of the things my husband misses the most and looks forward to every visit is his Mama’s cooking. He calls her ahead of time and makes special request for Greens, Fried chicken, Hot Water corn bread, Pound Cake and Peach Cobbler. His Daddy has a cookout for us, upon EVERY visit. We love hangin out in the backyard with Grand-Daddy’s big ol hot grill smokin hot links and the most mouth-watering, tender, slip off the bone BBQ ribs. Nobody makes BBQ like Grand-Daddy. Well, My husband can but he’s learned from the best. We also LOVE going to the garden with Daddy, a place he is so proud of. For as long as my husband can remember, his Grand-Daddy has always gardened. He has a quaint vegetable garden in his own back yard but he also gardens out in the field. FIELD, a vast amount of land that goes on and on as far as your eyes can see. My husband has fond memories of growing up and spending time with Daddy in the fields.

Have I told you how much I LOVE his Grandparents? Every other year we travel over 2,248 miles from California to Michigan and visiting with Mama and Daddy are always the highlight of my trip. I spend as much time with Mama in the kitchen because I’m learning to cook just like her, and that makes my Husband veeeery happy.
