How I did it: I shopped around and took my time. I didn't let it overcome my life because it's not the funnest thing to do with your time and when I found a place that ticked all the boxes for me I double checked everything, and then made an offer. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I broke it down. So instead of approaching the research as a whole I dealt with one part of it at a time. It was much easier. I work in tv so this is a funny goal for me to have but I really want to break the habit. There are other ways I can spend my downtime.
I’m still feeling fit and healthy 4 months in. I am very happy about it. It’s almost mid winter and I have not caught the flu even though it’s going around.
I also feel a bit more confident. I have a feeling of “I can do this” about many things in my life. And my memory has improved, as has my thinking. It’s amazing what regular exercise does. It really does have a knock on effect.
It’s been wet and cold here in Sydney and I have slacked off a little bit with my exercise, doing it every second day instead of everyday. But I’ll pick it up again.
Gym got a bit boring so I have been doing other stuff instead like aerial, which does require a lot of strength and endurance.
I have had a bit of an acne flare up, from stress I think. So that doesn’t look too great but I’m hoping it will go.
I am going to wait till spring before I tick this goal as completed. People tend to get a bit lax in winter so I’ll see if I can stick it through.
