I’ve tried lots of things to loose weight… hum… lose the fat I mean.
Changing a lot in my life habits like reducing the fat content of meat, no refined sugar, try other sauce for pasta (instead of always making alfredo or cheezy sauces) eat bread with whole wheath (germ and everything), drink more water in the morning, eat fruits as breakfast, more veggies, reducing food portions, lifting weight daily and so on. Result? 5 pounds off :P Well i’ve been doing these things mostly on and off and usually not all at the same time. Now is time to make another set of changes…
Keeping the reduced food portion and drinking more water. It worked well :) Start making more small meals for diner (my problem area, I usually hate making food for me alone:P) Chicken breast, fish or other lean meat, side dish of couscous/veggies… Cutting off bread (gonna be hard, my bf’s french :P) Adding wine for the anti-oxydant (easy, same reason). Continu trying other sauces for my pasta, tomato and basil is good:). Oh and lastly finish the day with a bike ride with my bf to get me started with exercising. Cardio is good but I’ll pitch in muscles building exercices later on. That’s it. (no, no sugary treat… i’m not that kind of girl:P)
Oh and I’ve found out something recently. I know it’s old news but if you eat slowly, it’s easier to feel when your not hungry anymore. I’ve realized that sometimes I stoped eating when I was feeling full instead of looking for the moment when I didnt feel the hunger. Different things. If I check myself and stop whenever I feel not hungry, I’ll eat less and no I wont feel hungry sooner ;) I’f I do, i’ll grab an apple or a banana :D
I’m hoping that changing these things will help me loosing the fat and be more healthy.
For the record, I’m 5”3’, I went from 160 to 155. Goal 125-135 depending of muscle mass
