because this is a life choice, not a one-time thing. It doesn’t matter how much you clean out all at one time, because it always comes back worse than ever!
For instance, we joined Freecycle groups as a way to give unneeded stuff to people who did need it, to kee it out of the landfill. We quickly acquired far more new-to-us stuff that we gave away immediately. Now there’s a rule: more FC stuff has to go out than comes in.
In any case, we’ve had a moves] since I wrote this goal, and that always results in gettings rid of some things. We moved to a smaller place, and I expect that our next home will be even more compact, requiring us to be more careful with the use of space.
So far, I’ve resisted getting a mini-warehouse. Hopefully, we’ll continue without one!

Seriously – I’ve got multiple blogs now. There’s my personal blog, my fibromyalgia blog/podcast, the cyberstalking blog, another about my needlework designs, and several family projects. After I learned how very easy it is to install and configure WordPress, using anybody else’s software is just too limiting.

I’ve always heard great things about the performances and the venue. The fact that Sam’s cousin cooks up delicious food there is yet another reason to go.
I really prefer live theater – especially for Shakespeare. It’s how He meant for his works to be enjoyed!

Because, hey, I’m a writer, not a programmer. I’m certainly opinionated enough to talk about design, but I’m not sure if I have enough of a concept of how difficult it is to implement various features to understand what I’m asking for.
I have QA experience, so when I have the time and energy, I will volunteer to test and document a project in which I’m interested.

And my web site is WAY stale. I’ve begun using CSS, but I cannot claim to have mastered it, by any means.
I want to fully switch the site to CSS, and have it all crisp and clean. I’d like to have it working so that the site will display nicely for any visitor, whether he’s on a mobile device, using a text reader, etc.

I want to move from LiveJournal to a “real” blog – one hosted on my own domain, where I have more control. Actually, I’ve got at least three different ideas for blogs right now. Part of my wants to dash right out and start all of them! And then again, the more practical said says, NO, if I do that I’ll just burn out.

I grew up singing. My mother’s family is full of music. I couldn’t begin to count the number of times I’ve sung on a stage or behind a pulpit, alone, in an small ensemble, or in a big group.
I prefer solos and small groups, but the years have got me feeling anxious and uncertain, and I’m out of practice. I need to find people to sing with weekly, at the very least – and to perform with every month or so!

And I’m fortunate to have two life partners. I’m open to more love in my life, but I’m very grateful for the family we’ve created together.

Just refuse to put up with people who are consistently dramatic.
Everybody has the occasional crisis. Some people, though, live for the crises, thriving on the rush.
The rest of us get through the nasty bits, then change our lives around to make future crises less likely.
I’ve written about this several times in my LiveJournal, particularly this entry, so I won’t go on at length here.

Not something I’m into doing just for the sake of doing, but it’s certainly worthwhile and very useful. It isn’t that hard, either, with current distributions.

Have to do it every day, and hope to continue doing so for the rest of my life. I’m happy to have spawned another generation of snugglebugs :-)

You get to spend more time with some of the most interesting people in the world – your kids! You’ll learn as much as they do.

I can’t begin to express how much my daughter (now 14) has brought to my life. I literallly do not think I would be alive if it were not for her. She’s my miracle. I look forward to more children in our future.
I’m not entirely sure what “willing to help” means in this context, but I’ll use it as being willing to co-parent and be an active part of a community of families.
