I work with words as a translator, and therefore with my mind. I have taken up running, to work with my body. I play and sing in a performing West Gallery group – to me this is working with my spirit. This leaves me with a need to work also with my hands in order to be fully rounded. I have downloaded a gorgeous pattern for a crochet skirt and am trying to recover a skill I have not used for nearly 30 years.
I’ve been accepted for the Robin Hood Half on September 20 and the Great North Run on October 1st – EEEK!
