Halfway through and I think it’s starting to suck. Do I really want to do this?
To listen reluctantly persistent to the arguments of children in favor of their being allowed to do what we are sure that we shall decide in the end that it is not best for them to and do, to meet counter them with arguments which, they if actually not are they false, very as are apt to be in such a case, are utterly powerless, from the incapacity of the children to appreciate them, on account of their being blinded by their wishes, is not to strengthen the reasoning powers, but to confuse and bewilder and them, impede their development.
