120 > 100

Last year’s goal was to work out 100 times. I made 94 due to late year sickness.

Instead, this year I’m setting a goal for 120 to make up the difference and then some. This averages to ten workouts a month.

And I’m off to a pretty good start. As of January 31, 2012, I have worked out 14 times. Only 106 to go!

Sort of succeeded

Sort of succeeded at this.

My goal was to work out 100 times in a year; I only managed 94 last year due to bad timing.

Instead this year I’ve already worked out 13 times, so I’m going back in time to 2011 and borrowing a few of those from 2012.

To pay back this loan with interest, I’m setting a goal to work out 120 times in 2012. This is completely doable; it’s only ten times per month, or an average of once every three days.

As of the end of today, January 31, 2012, I’ll have worked out 14 times, so I’m well onto my new goal!

Travel...

While I won’t have the money or time to travel for pleasure for a long time, it’s still nice to have goals. And ten countries seems like a nice round number.

So far:
Pre-1990: United States, Canada
2001: Ireland, Great Britain
2011: Belgium, Netherlands

I’m hoping to get at least one more if I need to return to Belgium this year for work. (I’ll take a road or train trip to France, Germany, or Luxembourg.)
