the best thing about exercising each day is that it begins to trickle into other aspects of your life. for instance i needed to run for the bus the other day, usu. i’d be winded, but not this time. there is something pretty cool about that.

we are entertaining at least once a month. apparently that is enough for me to make sure the carpet is consistently vacuumed and the bathroom relatively clean. these are all baby steps. also! big storage closets help a lot.
i’m trying to put in place the idea of adding and subtracting. we recently moved, so i subtracted a lot. excess actually, so now when i add something to our household i try to subtract something of similar mass. apparently it mostly works, a friend commented that our apartment seemed really clean.
