I read Slaughterhouse 5 a long time ago and loved it. Last month I read Cat’s Cradle and now I’m reading Breakfast of Champions. The man was a genius.

I worked three jobs to save up enough money, applied for ten zillion scholarships (received not many) and am lucky enough to have parents who are willing and able to help me out. I just got an Amazon Kindle, which is the World’s Most Amazingly Awesome Invention, but now I’m confused. Do I have to count the 3,000+ books I’ve downloaded as “books I own”? ‘Cause that complicates things, that does.
I guess I’ll take this in mini-steps. Step one: stop saying “like.” I don’t say it as much as the badly-stereotyped ditzy high school girl, but I say too much anyway.
Step two will probably be to stop qualify everything I say with the words “I guess.”
