I’m writing a fantasy novel, collaboratively with my best friend. We first wrote a really really long draft (almost 300K words) and then split the plot into three separate novel ideas. We’ve completely rewritten what is now the first book, and are currently in the second round of editing that. At the same time, we’re writing the second book. We soon hope to being querying agents to have our work published.
