Stop picking my lips
new bad habit 22 months ago

for the first 18 years of my life, i was a nail biter.
recently, i got my lip pierced and ended up stopping, just becuase it hurt so much to bite my nails.
a week or two ago, i got an allergic reaction from a chapstick, which basically caused a rash over my lips. it kind of… flaked off, and therefore it was necessary to pick at.
but thats over and now i just cant stop. its like lip picking has replaced my nail biting. and this is really a lot more painful but its just… I HAVE TO DO IT!
ack. im trying so hard to just like… forget about it, but i cant.

honestly, it hardly hurts at all.
i didnt even feel the needle go in at all,
and on the way out it was just a slight pinch.
its suprising because it has to go through a lot of skin, but it hurts less than an ear piercing.
