You’ve gotta have some waterproof gear, though. I ride in the rain all the time. It’s miserable when your clothes are soaking and clinging to you.
Fixed-gears are good in the rain, because they still stop. Not so with brakes, because they’re wet.

I love a good protest. I’ve been to them all my life. Anti-war protests, anti-gay marriage amendment, women’s rights, the famous SOA protest. They’re all good fun. Take the kids; they’ll enjoy the marching and singing and chanting, and it’s free!
Favorite protests include: the March for Women’s Lives in Washington D.C. (one of the biggest protests in American history), and the World Naked Bike Ride.

I recommend you get a straight barbell, not a curved one. Also, after it’s healed and no longer tender, make sure you can take it on and off at will. And DON’T RIDE YOUR BIKE FOR A FEW DAYS
