Psyching myself up 13 months ago

It is now 7:30 at night and I have yet to go to the gym to day. My cat is purring contentedly beside me, the dishwasher is humming lazily, and there is a book on my desk calling my name.

On the other hand, I did wake up this morning to a scale that proudly proclaims that I have lost 4 lbs. I’m on a roll! I can’t stop now!

On the other hand, I need to prepare for my OTHER goal of moving to San Francisco and applying to CSU East Bay.

On the other hand, working out will give me more energy to do all of that.

On the other hand…

... OHHH

There IS no other hand.
