1. Create a web comic!
I’ve tried 2 times in my life to come up with a decent story for a comic. Unfortuneately for me on the first try, I didn’t draw pannels and each scene took up a page. My second try with riddled with Mary Sues, but they say third time’s the charm…
I’ve been drawing since the age of 4. When I was 10, I had my first formal introduction to japanese anime and the culture surrounding it by watching Sailor Moon. As such, I started drawing anime styled artwork, inspired from the show. Unfortunately I used to eyeball the details a lot and as such I made a lot of anatomical errors, yet still thought I was an amazing artist in my mind. Then I joined deviantArt and over time, after being exposed various art forms outside of anime, I was inspired to try and improve myself and learn more about human anatomy. I’ve come a far way from the drawings I made as a 10 year old in awe of everything and anything from Japan. I know I still have a some ways to go and improve, but I’d love to make artwork people can enjoy, and possibly something that someone would want to buy and remember their experience at a convention!
