I chatted with my parents recently about my intense desire to get a tattoo-just the one-and what the repercussions would be should I decide to get said tattoo.
They are the parents that have always told me that they would cut off funding if they found out a I have a tattoo. But, surprisingly, they weren’t so crazy this time around.
Mom laughed in my face and reminded me of my fear of needles (which is valid and true), and Dad laughed and said “not in my house.” Mom then said that as long as she didn’t see it, she was okay with whatever I wanted to get. She even looked mildly surprised when I told her what I wanted to get inked.
So, I still have a vow to wait an entire year to see if I still want it (that’s Spring Break, for those curious), but…I’m one step closer to getting my amazing tattoo!

All right! Chapter three was completed two days ago, and I am very excited about it. That’s, what, one sixth of my book (as it’s eighteen chapters)? Most excellent! I am excited about the rest.

Whether you liked this movie or not doesn’t really matter. Bridget Jones is very timely about her journal entries (literally—in the books, they are all dated with specific times).
I have this problem. I think of great things I’d like to write down, and then when I have finally found some spare time to write it down, I have forgotten whatever it was I wanted to write. What to do, then?
Personally, I plan on trying out this new method of journal-entry. I will carry around my journal and hopefully get a chance to write down the things that pop into my head from time to time.
If this doesn’t work, I have no idea what I’m going to do. Set a specific time to write? Maybe. We’ll see.
