How I did it: It's weird. I hadn't considered myself ever able to give or receive love outside of my family during my younger years, and perhaps I hadn't really figured I was deserving of love either. Here I am though, loved and in love, and it's a good feeling. It's incredible to be extremely close to someone and know they want the best for me. We enjoy everyday together and I plan to put so much effort into this (as does he) to make sure it lasts. Read how I did it…
How I did it: It's easy to become impatient because time is so valuable, but in that same sense, that means I should spend less time frustrated with things I can't change (like lines at the grocery) and more time in my usual good mood. There's no point in upsetting myself, or allowing myself to be irritated, by such small incidents. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Usually I just give clothing away, but I was recently pretty low on cash. I took a few old items to Plato's Closet & they ended up buying 3 of them, offering me $13. Since I buy most of my clothing on sale & with an employee discount, it was only a few dollars under what I'd actually paid for the pieces. That's what I get for working retail.. Read how I did it…

I have to do this. It’s a recent change I’ve had to make, around the start of 2009. I miss normal bread and get cravings for oreos (when my boyfriend eats them in front of me!) and saltines, but honestly I guess it isn’t so bad.
Feeling a bit healthier, unless I make a mistake with my new diet, is much better than eating what I want and suffering for it. Cheers to feeling better! Now I just have to keep it up and fight my temptations for life.
I’m interested in improving my writing. My boyfriend knows this, of course, and gave me the new years resolution of writing something everyday. So far I’ve kept it up, and I’m allowed to only write a sentence or two on days I’m feeling less inspired. I’m working on a few short stories, keeping up with a blog, and playing with poetry (although I admit I’m not very good).
