I went camping in Napa earlier this year. There were 20 of us and we were all going to share tents, but I started talking to this guy who just had brought an air mattress and a sleeping bag with. I remarked on how awesome that was and how I was jealous… I’m from Illinois, so the amazing sights in the skies over lake Berryessa were pretty amazing to me. He turned to me and said, “Ok, then you take it.” I couldn’t believe how awesome he was being, but I did it. I slept outside on the beach with a friend and just stared up at the stars all night and remembered how small I was.

Totally worth it, even though it was pretty chilly out.

walk 60 miles

Hm… thought I knocked this one off the list already. Well, I did this already. I walked 60 miles for breast cancer this last summer, in the cold rain in Chicago. I raised almost $10k and I am proud of everyone who donated to me. It was very much worth doing and I would recommend it to everyone, whatever the cause.
