How I did it: My Spanish professor handed out some flyers for a study abroad opportunity to Salamanca, Spain. And I went. And it was fucking awesome.I stayed with a host family while I was there, and that was a great experience because then I had to speak Spanish at home. I think that I’ve sufficiently increased my nerd quotient since I set this as one of my goals to say that I’ve achieved it.
I started playing video games twice a week with a friend of mine, and I’m actually getting good. :D

Good freaking grief, Charlie Brown. I finally got my license in July at the age of 18. Yeah, I was a late bloomer. Sue me.
