Thanks to TBTL, I’m now in a mustache competition. From across a continent (and an ocean, for that matter). AL encouraged me to enter (though she says she meant the email as a reminder, not as encouragement). Oh well, now I’m committed. And it looks horrible – what little there is to see, anyway. :)

The contest started on September 16, and goes through October 15. We’re now 6 days in.

By the time I'm ready (read: several years in the future), the market will be too!

The bubble is long popped, and the NYT’s real estate guru seems to think the times are starting to look better for buying.
