Allow myself to only be treated well by the people I choose to have friendships and relationships with. If they do not, I need to find the courage to move on without them.
GREAT GOAL! 23 months ago

I’ve done this most recently… it’s a tough thing sometimes to do alittle relationship “house cleaning”.. but when you do.. you make room for all the amazing positive people and experiences to grow!

Letting go – be it a relationship, job, or object…truly is the hardest thing to do…

stop obsessing over my weight
weigh-ing you down 23 months ago

It isn’t to say that I don’t worry about being healthy or get annoyed at that little bulge hanging on my hips, but I think I’ve learned to be much more appreciative of my curves and my body itself. Living in southern california is hard when you’re a good midwest gal with a shapely body.. but the truth is and once you let go of the madness of “be this be that, this is pretty, this is not” You’ll find a sense of “weight”off your shoulders…

There is a big difference between “letting yourself go” and letting go of the “be something I’m not” cycle. I can NEVER be a size 2 or under 130 pounds… First of all my legs are just to muscular… second, I enjoy celebrating a good piece of chocolate, a fine wine and a run on a gorgeous sunny day :)

LIVE!

move to Paris
Untitled 23 months ago

My goal is actually to live in Paris for at least a month or two. If anyone has suggestions, ideas, helpful hints.. I’d love to hear about it. I’ve been wanting to live abroad for a while, and France has always for some reason has been such a magnetic force for me.

My plan thus far has been to
1.brush up on my French.. I know I could get by, but I want to blend as much as possible
2. Work obsessivly and gain freelance graphic / marketing clients so I can still have “some income” while I’m there
3. Read as much as possible
