I don’t have anything holding me down…so why not? I think the concept is wonderful. Many places will let you stay for free and they give peace and quiet. Poetry writing…painting…surrounded by creative minds. That’s just what I think I need.

How I did it: I'm a stubborn person. It has taken numerous relationships to show me that I'm going about it all the wrong way. I wasn't seeing all that was out there waiting for me! I was using lame excuse after excuse. I fell into a trap of feeling sorry for myself. It took a lot of eye opening experiences for me to realize that I just need to do what I want to do! Read how I did it…
I realized that these paintings are like a documentary of my relationships and how I am finding myself. It has taken almost two years to complete this project. This one isn’t done entirely but I have a feeling that the wave of emotion that has followed my recent break up will cause me to finish the entire project.
Ride the wave.
1. Being independent and free to do what I want
2. The dollar store! I can buy twenty things and not go broke!
3. Beanie cat. He’s gone and I miss him but when I think about him I am happy.
4. Having a computer again.
5. Soaking in the sun. It feels so good to just lay on my porch and let my skin get hot.
6. Walking for the fun of it, not because I feel like a bloated beached whale.
97. Being able to come out of a break up strong and optimistic. He just wasn’t the one for me.
98. Cheesey puffs. I ate a whole bag of them last night while watching sleepless in seattle. What was I thinking???
99. Clear blue sky, a full tank of gas…and no destination
100. My life, although sucky at times, makes me happy. When I look back on the things i’ve accomplished and who I’ve met, it really does make me feel good. I’ve learned from all the bad and the good that has happened to me. I’m happy about my life, even when it feels uncertain whats going to happen next.
