How I did it: I looked through web postings of rooms for rent, then shortlisted all based on budget and location. When I found the perfect place, I immediately called the "landlady" and made an appointment to check the place out. I made the deal on the same day I saw the place. Read how I did it…
How I did it: i'm a perfectionist and if i have to pray 5x a day, i pray 5x a day. if i miss one prayer, it ruins the beauty of praying 5x that day. this somehow motivated me to stick to the five. once i succeeded praying 5x a day for a whole week, i didn't want to ruin the next week at all, and once i completed the next week, i didn't want to ruin the week after that... and so on and so forth. How I did it: to make things clear, i didn't stop eating completely. i promised myself i wouldn't buy any junk food. but if someone bought or offered it to me, i would eat it. as this rarely happens, i see no harm in eating it once in a while. well, buying and consuming junk food was a toughie especially during the times of craving. but i constantly reminded myself that: "i've gone this far! why consume it now and ruin all the days that i haven't … Read how I did it…

i was planning to move out by the end of this month, but that’s not gonna work out. i don’t have enough money, and i’m still thinking whether it’s best to find my own place or find a room for rent instead. i guess i can’t afford finding my own place for now. but anyway, if i do rent a room, i still have to save up. so most likely i’ll be moving in november or something.
the consequence of not being able to achieve this goal is to pay rent for the current room. i’ll have to find out a way to do that (i’m currently staying with my aunt).
august: new month, new goal to achieve. i’ve decided that i’m going to stop eating junk food i.e. fast food and potato chips and all those unhealthy snacks.
i should make a list. no:
1. fast food restaurants.
2. potato chips, corn chips and all those other chips in attractive packaging.
3. fizzy drinks.
4. instant noodles.
wish me strength!
