Well it has been about 10 days since I began to “learn” to play the guitar. I’m using the on-line course Jamorama. It’s pretty easy to follow. I would like to say that I’m a lot better but I am not. I’m barely better. I have learned 3 chords A major, D, and G. I’ve learned to strum and know what a fret is so I guess I’m progressing. I had my fingernails done nicely but very short. They still look nice and now I can also hold the strings down. I feel like I’m making progress but it’s very slow.

OK. I really suck. I find it hard and frustrating to even try and get your fingers in the right position. It doesn’t sound like anything and it hurts your fingers. I will keep on for a while but I thought it would be calming and relaxing. It isn’t either of those for sure!
I went to Houston at the end of November and went to a nice restaurant. We ordered an expensive (well expensive to me) bottle of wine $65 and it was very good. Fox Creek Merlot I believe. It was smooth and I think I could drink that.
