Since making this goal I have had several attmepts at it using a variety of diet programs. I have lost 7kg but have got down to 10kg lost. I am more confused than ever of what healthy eating weight loss plan to follow but am spending a lot of time researching and trying to discover how I want to eat for life. One thing I know for sure is that I am not giving up this battle.

How I did it: We looked at our budget and our goals. We recently build our own house and have found with interest rate decreases and boarders living with us that we have enough surplus income and equity to justify buying a new car.We had our eye on the Ford Focus XR5 turbo for over a year and after reading every review we could find on the cars in that range we settled on that one and bought it brand new from the dealer. How I did it: My husband and I basically had to come to a decision together about whether we were ready to make time in our lives for a new puppy. We didn't just want a dog as an accessory but as a bonafide family member. We had to prepare to change our lifestyle to include a dog. More walks and more time at home to spend with the puppy. On the first of May we welcomed Zoltan Campbell into our lives. Born on the 26th of March, Zoltan a black toy Labradoodle is our new baby. After lot’s of back and forth with my husband about the right time to get a dog we finally decided to take the plunge and become dog owners. He is named after Zoltan from the TV show ‘Dude Where’s My Car’ due to the white patch on his neck looking like a ‘Z’ (ZOLTAN *hand symbol”). He is an awesome dog. So playful and friendly. He loves people. He also loves other dogs and is so boisterious that he shows up our friends dogs including a full size Golden Retriever named Buddy. :)
We have many years of enjoyment to look forward with our new family member Zoltan… GOAL ACHIEVED!! :D
I have almost completed my Bachelor of Arts Degree. I have one semester to go. I deferred it as I got married and was so sick of study I couldn’t bring myself to finish it. I wanted to work and get some funds happening and buy a house etc. Now I have bought the house and really want to finish my degree. It’s tricky coz I will need time off work to do it at my current university. I am also looking at possibly doing another course and take the credits of what I have previously done to study something different but I have no idea what… But I want to finish it at least and have my HECS debt mean something!!!
