I learned so much about myself by going backpacking through europe two summers ago. I was 22 at the time, and went by myself. I learned how to be independent, that 99% of people in the world are good at heart, and met a bunch of great people.
Irish Pubs are amazing! Great drinks, great food, and most of all, great music! Tip: If plain Guinness is too bitter, try guinness with black currant syrup in it; sweetens it up just enough.
My good friend Rachel is from Sydney. We met in Belfast, N Ireland almost 2 years ago while we were studying abroad at the same University. I just graduated from college in May, got a full-time job, and now I want to save up to take a trip to Australia during December 2006 and see Rach again.
