The databse is ready. I made sure its structure corresponded with that of the existing database online.
No joy on importing it, though. MS Excel may not be creating the correct sort of CSV file.

How I did it: I packed the car, got a cat-sitter, and drove with my husband to the other coast. We didn't have any "have to" destinations along the way, so our stops to see things were serendipitous. There is an amazing amount of stuff to see, and even if you don't stop to see much, the breathtaking landscape alone is worth thev trip. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Called a mattress and futon store to see if they had faux leather covers. Went to the store to place my order. Picked up the cover two days later. Took the old cover off; put the new cover on. YAY! A cat-proof futon! Read how I did it…
How I did it: I bought a persimmon, waited for it to ripen, then cut it open, spooned it out and ate it.There's no scent to the fruit that I could detect. When ripe, the orange flesh is very soft and a bit slimy in texture. The taste is not quite bland, but not really exciting, either. Almost a bit of a light cinnamon taste.I'm glad I tried it, but I wasn't impressed enough to buy another. It is, however, the most beautiful fruit I've ever seen. Read how I did it…

How many times have I started writing a book? I’ve lost count. But I’m working on an outline, and, realizing that it’s difficult, gave myself a pep talk. If it were easy, anyone could do it! I soldier on.
I sent off the signed contract and deposit to the caterer, so that’s wired.
I’ve also decided on the decoration: purple tablecloths, lilac napkins, white china, and small silver lanterns with (battery-operated) tealights. Those are the wedding colors, so I wanted to follow that theme. The caterer takes care of all the linens and china, so I just have to get the lanterns and tealights. Happily, those are available online. I’ll just need to order them to get here on time. Right after the holidays should work.
