i’d love ice cream about now…i have to stay strong! i keep reminding myself that the average person gains 7 lbs over the holidays. i refuse to be one of those people. i didn’t mindlessly snack between meals, or over-eat at all today! this is my second day back eating ‘real’ food after stomach flu. maybe i’ll just have me a cup of decaf tea.

ok, i’ve done a couple…i need to get back into the routine of running. sometimes (i sound like a complete dork here) i park way far away from the entrance into work, and i run out to my car from the doors. its the equivilant of a block in my neighborhood. i just glide. my husband discribes it as gliding and thats totally what it feels like. i had diet coke in the trunk of my car, so one day i ran out to my car and back again, i love that feeling…gliding. its so effortless. i think i am finally starting to get into decent shape. running takes such dedication. i really need to decipline myself again.
i work out almost everyday and in the last 10 months or so, have just gone up in weight. i want to lose 20 pounds and be 150 again1 but its so stubborn, it just won’t come off! i want to tone up my abs too! they’re way too flabby. ah well, tomorrow is ab day.
