Progress 10 months ago

I was able to team up with two other girls who were flathunting and we’ve actually found a place! It’s a bit over my original budget but I don’t care, it’s a lovely flat and in a gorgeous part of London. We’ve paid the deposit and once references etc. get checked out it will hopefully be ours by next weekend. Hooray!

Gah 10 months ago

I can’t be sick of London after only a week here! Room-hunting has not been going so well (though my pickiness is partly to blame for that) but I’ve now met two lovely girls that I’m going to share with, so hopefully we should find somewhere this week. My bag was also stolen a few days ago so I also have to organise a way of getting enough money together for the deposit etc before I find a place. Grr.

To-do list:

  • Find flat
  • Bank account (once have found flat)
  • Mobile phone (once have opened bank account)
  • Work documents
  • Oyster card
