i’m thinking i would love a job in pr. i love to write. i love to be creative, and i love people. i think the first step is to talk to people in public relations to see if i would really like it, what would be a good fit for me,etc. also, it would be a good idea to start networking. this is a random thought, but i want to write it down so i don’t forget, but i think it would be a good idea to have business cards printed up.

i feel like i’m a friendly person, but i’m not good at approaching a total stranger and starting small talk. i don’t know how to initiate it. my thinking is that it takes confidence and not being afraid of rejection. any thoughts? has anyone else been bad at this at one time, but is now a pro? :)

Lack of confidence has been the common thread in my life. I’m slowly defeating it since losing so much weight, but it is still hard. It is hard with guys. It is hard with searching for a career.
