I hate being in debt. I have always hated owing people money. Even when someone lends me a couple of pounds and tells me not to worry about it, I’ll slip the money in their pocket when I get a chance or buy them something small or ask them over for dinner to make up for it. If I don’t, it eats away at me, niggling me until I do something about it.
I found a letter through from the lovely lovely people at the Student Loan Company. I owe them just over £11.000 with the interest slowly accumulating, draining away at my future income.
And it ain’t going away anytime soon.
With the temping, then the travel and work abroad for the next few years, I’m going to be in my late twenties when I start to pay it off.
The debt is a large blob like creature, with slimy skin and lizard eyes. When it opens its my mouth, there’s a sucking sound, like an old woman drinking tea with her teeth out.
” YOU WILL NEVER GET RID OF ME! I’LL BE DRAINING YOUR PENSION DRY WHEN YOU’RE LYING IN YOUR OWN FILTH IN A RETIREMENT HOME. HA HA HA HA!”
Anyone got a winning lottery ticket they wanna share?
