I’m realizing that it is much easier to regret something I did not do versus something I did do. It’s a little painful at times, but I see that I would much rather imagine what would happen than find out for myself. Working on it….

I am in 1 Kings and I just stumbled across this… a kind of double-take passage….
“But will God really dwell on earth? The heavens, even the highest heaven, cannot contain you. How much less this temple I have built!” 1 Kings 8:27
So true, no building can contain Him. It’s funny how sometimes I do put constraints on Him so that He just “fits” somewhere on earth, in a church, in a certain situtaion…. I think my view of Him has been narrow-minded recently, where I only focus on Him in a particular situation, forgetting that He isn’t just there, God is everywhere all at one time! It’s crazy and I can’t grasp this concept, but its true anyways…. Even the heavens cannot contain Him- that’s HUGE! I love it, even though I am so small to try to comprehend it, I love it :)
One of my favorite things in the world is having long-winded car talks just sitting in a parking lot wherever and losing track of time late at night. I have discovered more about myself and life and other people’s perspectives on life through these talks, they’re amazing! I think there is something about the wee hours of the night, its easier to let down our defenses maybe from the magic of the stars. And perhaps the dark provides a sense of security because its quiet, its open-minded. I love it.
