in the long run…most white lies (at least the white lies i have been dealing with lately) do not actually protect the other person…white lies are an effort to protect yourself from disappointing another person. white lies build up and beliebe me, a load of white lies that build up over a long period of time, are significanly worse than just telling the truth at the beginning.
