Express called me yesterday, two hours after I applied :-)
It’s only for a seasonal position, but hey—I’m not complaining! Hoping everything works out…

How I did it: I'm into photography, so I posted a couple dozen of my best shots and started joining groups. Within a month or two, I got the email that announced I had made a sale on a framed print. It's awesome to know that someone else in the world appreciates you work enough to actually buy it, and it's a great feeling. Selling your work won't happen overnight (clearly my sale didn't), but if you comment on others' work and make your presence known … Read how I did it…
This is going to be a long journey, but I’m going to get there soon. I admit, I should have been saving up for this a couple of years ago. And I feel really, really, stuck living in my parent’s house. How stuck? Well, I’m looking for a job right now, and I don’t have a car (but I’m hoping that will be fixed within 6 months). I have a couple of job interviews this week and am optimistic I will get somewhere. The thing is, I’m going to the University out here full time, and don’t know if it’s wise to work full time as well on top of my schedule. I guess soon I won’t have a choice. I hope that in a year from now, my life will be very different. And unstuck :-)
