How I did it: Will power, and making sure not to be too inebriated to brush my teeth. That's all it takes. And it helps to be scared straight by having cavities that my dental insurance didn't cover fixing. Read how I did it…
How I did it: After graduating college I weighed 195. I cut out juice and dessert, and replaced nearly all my white grains with whole grains. Also, I joined a gym, which I go to once or twice a week and bought a road bike, which I rode about fifty miles per week when it was dry out. Read how I did it…
they’re kinda evil (they steal your money and they run on nigerians’ blood), but they get you places quickly and comfortably and mine even has a cd player
I’ll be in Peru and Chile starting in February and wanted to visit the Amazon. Time isn’t really a big factor and my friend and I speak English and Spanish. We want to do the trip relatively inexpensively, but with a guide and including a lot of hiking/backpacking. Any advice on such things as which city to start in (Manuas, I’m guessing), how to find a good guide, what to see, which parks to visit, would all be very much appreciated.
