2. Roarke from J. D. Robb’s In Death series
If anyone else has read these books, they’ll know why. He’s rich, charming, gorgeous and Irish. Pefect.
3. Bernard Black from Black Books
He reminds me of me on a bad day, and is hilarious and has great hair. When I get married, I’m forcing my husband to wear his hair like that.

These are not in any particular order, just the order I thought of them in. Take from this what you may…
1. Jan Fabel (created by Craig Russell)
A half-British, half-German detective trained as a historian. What’s not to like? And the character is in a really great series of books.

My first lesson was today and my instructor seems very nice. I’m to work on scales and remembering the notes for the rest of the week. It’s fun so far and my instructor was impressed with my criticism of myself. That’s one thing I’m very good at.
