How I did it: I just bought a flight for myself and then 10 days later I was there. It did cost a bit, but its worth it. You can get a ticket for 12 euros that gets you into 6 sites and the museums aren't too expensive. The weather was great and the people were very friendly. I met a lot of travellers on the way too. I’ve bought some sculpting tools and am now looking into doing a course in January. Not sure what materials to buy, so I’ll need to do some research online. I want to make something small and not necessarily detailed to begin with.
One day I hope to finish the 30 second 3D animation I started 3 years ago. I have done all the background models and titles for it but scrapped my initial character design and haven’t had the inspiration or motivation to come up with a new one.
I live near the grand union and I want to buy a boat and live on it to avoid paying rent. I am saving money towards this and at the current rate that would take another 5-6 years. I am considering taking out a loan instead, but the high cost of mooring around here always puts me off.
