but it gets lonely sometimes…
i would never do room mates again, but to share with someone special, thats welcome. :)

One night while driving in Sweden I finally saw them. Dancing and flickering in all of their beauty right before my eyes :)
Never have I had such a mindopening, eyeopening, chance of a lifetime experience. Anyone who is presented this opportunity should take it and run. You can only grow from it.
today i got some news from a friend which got me thinking… about breast health
(a coworkers daughter who is 31, was just diagnosed with breast cancer. she will be undergoing a masectomy one week later. 31… that’s me and my friends. that’s any one of us)
in the states we see the gyno on an annual basis. although they don’t do mamograms until the age 40, they do a manual exam with every yearly pap.
in sweden we see the gyno every 3 years. and they have never done a manual breast exam on me. perhaps it is something u need to ask for? i’m not quite sure.
but… i think its important that we all know how to check outselves.
this is something i always have good intentions of doing, yet i so rarely do it.
when living in the USA i was semi active. several days a week at the gym. for me it was great stress relief and i always felt better after a yoga class or kick boxing. then i broke my tailbone and hten moved to sweden. so its been 6 months of no activity and its showing… physically as well as mentally.
here everyone seems to run. and although i have only tried it once, i was ready to die after 45 seconds ;) its free. and the nature is gorgeous. so i just need to get my butt in gear and do it.
once upon a time i taught workshops. i wouldn’t mind doing that again. or just selling my pieces on the web. anything that gives me a good excuse and real motivation for creating.
but there are always a million reasons (excuses) not to. money and time being the two that top the list…
